DSCL is a premier sponsor of lawn tennis in India. The company entered the tennis scenario with the objective to encourage and promote young talent by providing a platform of high quality tennis competition so that it could help India make a niche for itself in the International arena.

In the first year in 1992, the Company organised Open Tennis Championship for Delhi State under the aegis of All India Tennis Association (AITA). The National status for the juniors' championship was awarded to DSCL in 1996. In 1998 the company was given the responsibility by AITA to conduct the prestigious National Hardcourt Tennis Championship. Since then, the company has been organizing the most sought after Championship on the Tennis calendar on the National circuit - the DSCL Open (National) Tennis Championship at the DLTA Complex, Africa Avenue, New Delhi. Some of the players who have made name from the tournament and moved on to higher echelons are :- Syed Fazaludin, Gaurav Natekar, Harsh Mankad, Vinod Shridhar, Vishal Uppal, Vijay Kanan, Nitin Kirtane, Sunil Kumar, Asif Ismail, Saurav Panja, Uzma Khan, Sai Jaylakshmi, Rushmi Chakravorty, Archna Venkatraman, Sonal Phadke, Radhika Tulpule, Amanjot Singh, Lisa Pareira, Sania Mirza and Sanaa Bhambri.
